There are much better apps out if you want to customize your desktop.

Love this app but everytime there is an update, this thing gets glitchy and the weather flashes. To ‘fix’ it, I have to delete and reinstall. Also, when it does get glitchy, it puts up wallpapers I don’t use, (that I’ve just looked at), and then flashes to the one I selected. Needs work ….

This app worked excelently in mac os 10.7, 10.8, 10.9 and now it does not work in 10.10. The last time it was updated was 2013 and the developer will not respond to anyone. They have taken their earnings and retired. Do not buy anymore. What a shame a good product

I have had this application for over two years, and the entire time I’ve had the app, it force restarts itself, causing the old wallapaper to show before switching once again to the new one. The cycle continues endlessly as it chews up resources to constantly restart the application. The developer is obviously aware of the issue since it’s all in the reviews, but no fix has been issued for it since before Mountain Lion.

Great concept and value, however for those who are very attentive or want fluidity, this app needs some work. The title is a bit misleading, as the background images are not all animated, rather they include animated elements like a weather widget or clock. Those that are animated are poorly animated and show frame lag, even on high end Macs. This is evident with the Nebula and Polar clock themes. I like the idea of live wallpaper, but if the implementation is not fluid and streamlined, it is not worth it. Also I have noticed that when the app is quit, it does not revert back to your old wallpaper and instead leaves the image from the theme you were using before the app was quit.

Whats going on with the app i can’t see my weather anymore and i can’t Re-Downloaded anymore from the app store anymore

I like this app but when I upgraded to El Capitan OS the app’s weather feature doesn’t work. I hope the developer will correct this.

I have been running this app for over a year, and there have been no new official updates in that time. Thier last official update appears to be 5/3/13. As far as their “community” themes go, there have been no new posts since mid-2014. Also, some of the commuinty themes will download and some will not. Not a bad app, but the company has obviously moved on and is just sucking up you money without offering anything new.

Should we just assume that it won’t get updated anymore? It hasnt been for over 2 years…

The weather doesn’t work and the developer is MIA. This should be taken off of the app store.

Bought it, loaded it, deleted it. Don’t waste your time.

Super buggy, might actually change the background once in 30 tries, only a handful of themes, can’t even load weather info for los angeles, mad I paid for this

the weather does not show…….the wallpapers i choose dont stay. I just wasted .99 on this app that had many great reviews. GRRRRRRRRRRR
